Green and brown? How British of a Kraut motor.

Starting to regret not picking one of these up when they were reasonable.

70k+ miles? Just at that stage in its life to have all fluids, belts and whistles changed? I don’t know when those things need to be done on this car... but isn’t that a typical age for replacing bunch of shit for a normal car?

Manual coupes are still out there for reasonable money if mileage and lack of color doesn’t bother you. Possibly some ugly wheels or bolt ons.

For sure. 60-80k is where I spent at least a third of the total upkeep for mine over 11.5 years. The sweet spot for these cars IMO is 1-2 owners and 90k miles.
It doesn’t matter here though as the color combo is going to bring the sort of money that gives BaT its stigma. I’d honestly go 30 on this if I was in the market, even with the paint the way that it is assuming I could make the sale contingent on a reasonable PPI. I think it will go for more than that.

Beautiful car but

Very pretty.

Oh it definitely will be and the paint isn’t in as nice of condition as the lead image has you believe.

I....uh don’t quite know how to react .
On one hand, great! A desirable car in good condition.
On the other hand, it’s on BaT where I will be outbid by people who are more con ce rn ed with getting that particular car and less about how much they’ll put down for it.
There are so many good things in the world that I can’t have. I’m not bummed out by it, but it’s existence also doesn’t usually make me happy.

Just saw that it’s an Alfa dealer. Can’t imagine any of them being good to work with.

I’m an absolute sucker for brown interiors with a blue or green exterior. That said, I would wait for this one:

they’re the WORST.

Yea I’d be more comfortable with a higher mileage car assuming few owners

Slangin’ overpriced Fiats can’t be a good life.

Wow, glorious. Don’t think I’ve ever seen an E46 M3 in that color, it must be extremely rare? And that interior just seals the deal.

I’m personally comfortable with cars with an accident history that have been properly repaired. But on this particular car selling at BaT prices, I’d be very worried about the resale hit from that accident and the paint not being in great condition.

It’s the latest year available with that exterior color too. However, there does appear to be a lot of front end chipping in the close up pics.

Says bumpers were repainted, perhaps a bad job there?
Either way as long as the chipping and damage is only superficial I’m all for it resulting in a lower purchase price making it more likely that the car will actually be bought by someone who will drive it, instead of storing it away as a museum piece.

i’d rather a black interior

They’re much easier to come by.

This is not a drill, I repeat this is not a drill.
If ever I were to own or want an E46 M3.... drool
![]() 08/08/2019 at 11:34 |

I’d only let mine go for another. It would have to be OG, PY, or LSB with a hard top and 3 pedals
![]() 08/08/2019 at 11:39 |

Coupe, OG, MT over cinnamon hands down. I could then swap in all my CSL components from the Z4M. Certainly would be a better street car and softer ride, but I am coming to grips with the Z4 being a never sell car.

Such a tough call, I want both. The M3 is a great daily, but those coupes and roadsters are so tight, and the cockpit really “hunkers down” on you which I love. My E90M3 was the same way.
